Submissions will be judged based on the following detailed parameters:

CREATIVITY AND ORIGINALITY

  • How unique is the design compared to existing traditional Pakistani clothing?
  • Does it incorporate a fresh perspective while respecting cultural aesthetics?
  • Does it stand out visually and conceptually?

CONNECTION TO TRADITIONAL STYLES

  • Does the design reflect elements of traditional Pakistani fashion (e.g., patterns, embroidery, cuts)?
  • How well does it merge traditional themes with modern trends?

PRACTICALITY FOR PRODUCTION

  • Is the design feasible for manufacturing at scale?
  • Does it use materials and techniques that align with industry standards?
  • Is the design functional and wearable?

WEARABILITY AND MARKET APPEAL

  • Will the target audience (young to middle-aged women) find the design appealing?
  • Does it align with zebawakht’s branding of affordability and premium quality?

QUALITY OF PRESENTATION

  • Is the submission clear and professionally presented?
  • Are sketches, digital files, or other mediums detailed enough for evaluation?

What is this contest about?

This is a design competition to find talented individuals who can create unique, traditional, and wearable designs for zebawakht’s upcoming clothing line. Winning designs will be featured in our collection, with exciting prizes to be won!

Who can participate?

This contest is open to all aspiring designers, especially undergraduate students and individuals with a passion for fashion. No prior professional experience is required.

What should I submit?

Submit a unique clothing design inspired by traditional Pakistani styles. Submissions can include:

  • Hand-drawn sketches.
  • Digital illustrations.
  • PDFs or scanned copies of your work.

How do I submit my design?

Email your designs to contest@zebawakht.com with:

  • Your full name and contact information.
  • A short description of your design (up to 100 words).

What is the deadline for submission?

All designs must be submitted by 15/02/2025. Late submissions will not be accepted.

What are the prizes?

1st Prize: 100,000 PKR

2nd Prize: 50,000 PKR

3rd Prize: 25,000 PKR

When will the winners be announced?

Winners will be announced on 01/03/2025 via our website and social media platforms.

Can I submit more than one design?

Yes, you can submit up to two designs, but each design must be submitted separately.

What rights do I retain to my designs?

By submitting a design to the zebawakht Design Contest, participants agree to transfer all intellectual property rights of their submitted designs to zebawakht. This includes both winning and non-winning entries.
